Hi, I’m Jay, a Software Engineer at Decathlon UK. I’m deeply fascinated by a wide range of topics, from the intricacies of performant distributed systems and compilers to programming languages and the elegance of frontends with great UX and micro-animations. These areas amaze me for their ability to distill complex concepts into solutions that simplify life. Lately, I’ve been learning Rust and diving into algorithms, system design, and functional programming.

Born on this pale blue dot, my journey (~25 times around our sun) has been equally fortunate as everyone else. I enjoy good music, books that challenge my thinking and technical reads.
